NugNav uses location to find nearby licensed cannabis retailers and compare retailer-listed menu prices. Precise coordinates are used to perform the search but are not stored in NugNav analytics.

Anonymous product analytics

NugNav records anonymous usage events such as completed searches, result counts, menu clicks, retailer and brand profile views, product and brand navigation clicks, category, sort choice, and search radius. A randomly generated browser session ID helps distinguish visits.

NugNav analytics do not intentionally store exact GPS coordinates, raw IP addresses, or the text you type into product search.

Beta feedback

If you submit beta feedback, NugNav stores the feedback type, message, optional email address, and the NugNav page you were viewing when you opened the feedback form. Feedback is not publicly readable. An email address is used only if follow-up is useful and you chose to provide one.

Retailer claims

If you submit a retailer claim, NugNav stores the business contact information you provide so the relationship to that retailer can be verified. Claim details are not publicly readable.

Brand claims

If you submit a brand claim, NugNav stores the business contact information, verification links, optional note, and analytics-interest choice you provide so the relationship to that brand can be reviewed. Brand claim details and private brand analytics are not publicly readable.

Brand profile management

Verified brand representatives can publish official brand profile details such as a website, social links, logo URL, and description. Those fields are public because they appear on the brand page. Data-correction requests submitted from the brand portal remain private to authorized brand members and NugNav operators.

Brand portal accounts

Approved brand representatives can use a Supabase-authenticated account to access private brand analytics. NugNav uses the account email and authentication session to determine which verified brand dashboards the signed-in user may access. Portal membership and private analytics are not publicly readable.

Retailer websites

NugNav links to third-party retailer websites and menus. Their privacy and purchase practices are governed by their own policies.

Age confirmation

NugNav stores a simple 21+ confirmation in your browser so the age gate does not appear on every visit. NugNav does not collect a birth date or government ID as part of this age-confirmation step.

Beta notice

This policy describes the current NugNav beta data practices and should be updated as accounts, paid retailer or brand products, advertising, or additional analytics are introduced.
